Penguin Refrigerator

Creche Penguin® Nutritional Refrigerators

The Penguin® Nutritional Refrigerators are medical-grade and designed specifically for use in hospitals, pharmacies, assisted living and nursing homes. The refrigeration systems allow medical facilities to satisfy Joint Commission and/or ADA guidelines for refrigerated storage of medications, formula and breast milk within their facility/department(s). In an ongoing effort to help keep noise to minimum, the refrigerators feature  whisper technology resulting in an ambient noise level of less than 39 decibels. The unique drawer design allows for quick cooling recovery every time the refrigerator is opened and closed.

Ameda Penguin® Nutritional Warmers

The Penguin® Milk Warmer is designed to warm breast milk to maternal body temperature. Rooted in evidence-based science, the Penguin employs three decades of proven laboratory methodology to safely warm breast milk and formula feedings to the thermo-neutral zone (90°F to 100°F) to protect 100% of the milks delicate properties and guaranteeing the infant receives 100% of the nutritional value of each feeding.

The ISO Therma-Liner completely separates the feeding and the NICU from exposure to waterborne microorganisms.

Aggressive, gradient heating such as blow-drying or steam heating and exposure to near-boiling liquids such as microwaving, creates risk for overheating and hot spots, which destroys the chemical properties of the milk. Molecular activity for even temperature transfer to the milk or formula can and should be accomplished by gradual warming and mixing. The Penguin® Nutritional Warmer utilizes the properties of water to promote gentle and safe nutritional warming. Because liquid to liquid warming is so efficient, the Penguin® is able to perform optimally with low heat; protecting the feedings from hot spots and plastic extractables while preserving the valuable nutritional properties of the breast milk/formula.

TSG205™ Series Countertop Refrigerator

The TSG Series refrigerations system feature the SilverPoint™ Temperature Monitoring Solution. This is an embedded temperature monitoring apparatus that provides both local and remote access to temperature settings. SilverPoint continuously measures and collects data pertaining to glycol and air temperature sensors, temperature set point, and alarm events. The data can be recorded at intervals from 15 minutes to 12 hours, and up to 10,000 data points are stored. The internal data log can be extracted through USB as a CSV data file. A replaceable on board battery provides continuous temperature monitoring during power outage events and alarms automatically sound to indicate low battery power and power failures.

The TSG Series Countertop Refrigerator maintains true center-air temperature control to <1.0 °C variability and offers precise temperature control within a +2 °C to +8 °C range. The refrigerator has automatic and manual defrost setting and includes a  glycol sensor with a dedicated port and independent 3.5mm pass-through port.
