DualCap® is a unique addition to the IV line bundle — a disinfection cap system designed for use on needle-free valves and the end of the IV tubing (male luer connector). DualCap contains 70% isopropyl alcohol to disinfect and protect IV connectors between uses. DualCap is ideal for use for outpatients receiving infusion therapy and hospitals using DualCap report fewer infections.
